If you want to be part of the backbone that unites government agencies, then a public administration degree is right for you. Public administration is the “implementation of government policy”. As a public administrator, you are responsible for enforcing the laws, policies, and regulations that have been put in place by your government, and a bachelor’s degree in public administration is the best way to prepare for this career.

What will you learn in the public administration track?
In your public administration degree program, you’ll learn all about the rigorous process that turns government policy into law. These programs cover the processes that administrators use to implement government policies, and also prepare future administrators for their roles through courses in management and budgeting.

As a public administrator, you will need to learn how to deploy human resources, how to plan for resource expenditures in cities, and the basics of business formation and development. Although public administration programs are somewhat similar to criminal justice programs, criminal justice graduates focus more on enforcing the law when it is broken, while public administrators are responsible for keeping the ship running smoothly.

What does a public administration degree prepare you for?
A public administration degree can prepare you for a career in a variety of federal regulatory organizations. It can also help you get started in other forms of public service at the federal, state, county, and local level.

If you become an expert in public administration, you may even be able to build a career as a public administration consultant. Public administration programs also prepare graduates for careers as educational administrators.

What are some examples of bachelor’s degrees in public administration?
Some examples of specific public administration programs include:

  • Public Administration
  • Public Administration in Nonprofit Management
  • Public Administration and Policy

This course explores the main responses to this question in the modern West. We begin with an overview of the major political theories of the Enlightenment: utilitarianism, Marxism, and the social contract tradition. In each case, we begin by examining the classical formulations, placing them in historical context, but then move on to contemporary debates that are relevant to contemporary politics.

We then turn to the rejection of Enlightenment political thinking, again exploring both classical and contemporary formulations. The last part of the course examines the nature and rationale of democratic politics and its relationship to Enlightenment and anti-Enlightenment political thinking.

In addition to exploring the theoretical differences between the various authors discussed, considerable attention is paid to the practical implications of their competing arguments. To this end, we discuss a variety of specific issues, including debates over economic inequality, affirmative action and the distribution of health care, the limits of state power in regulating speech and religion, and the difficulties associated with the emerging threat of global environmental impact. decay.

    1. What is the task of the course .

The main task of the course is to provide information to site visitors on how to become a politician. Additionally given is information on how, being a politician, to remain a normal person with an adequate perception of reality.

    1. How to Become a Politician?

A politician is a participant of politics. Participation in politics may be permanent or occasional. Officials from public authorities and authorized persons of political parties participate in politics permanently. Citizens participate in politics periodically. Example of periodical participation of citizens in politics is participation in events during the preparation of elections, participation in voting, participation in events after elections till the date of announcing the results of voting. If the number of public political events decreases, the periodicity of citizens’ participation in politics also decreases. For this reason, Politician is a permanent participant of politics. Unlike politicians, citizens are not politicians. To become a politician one should become an official in the state body, for example, the President, or an authorized person of a political party, for example, the leader of a political party. The number of vacancies in the authorities is limited. For example, the position of the President is one. According to this criterion, not all those who want to be politicians can become them. There is an opportunity of constant participation in politics in the role of a leader of a political party. Thus, to become a politician it is enough to become the leader of a political party.

    Repetition questions.

    1. Who are the politicians in politics?
    2. Why are citizens not politicians?
    3. A sufficient condition to become a Politician ?

    Practical exercises .

    1. Name ten Politicians in your area of residence .

More often than not, reference to the past of the political takes one of two forms: political history or political philosophy. In the first, we are invited to explore the history of political action. This is the history of rulers and governments, elections, reforms, diplomacy, revolutions. In the second, we study how people of the past have thought about politics, from Plato’s State to the present day.

The course “Political Inventions of the Modern Age” is neither. We offer a comparative look at how political phenomena have historically emerged that for modern man seem to be a natural part of political life: the state, bureaucracy, taxes, elections, parties, and others. Our task is to show how New Age political institutions were invented by societies and states to solve different problems, to understand what in the history of the political belongs to the natural and what to the accidental.

This course was born out of an interdisciplinary project between teachers of political science and history. Each topic receives bilateral coverage from the perspectives of both disciplines. For example, the phenomenon of the state is analyzed politologically from the perspective of the structural preconditions of its emergence, but then on the material of specific European countries the features of their development in early modern times, which conditioned one or another further historical trajectory, are discussed. This gives students a clear understanding of the mutual influence of structural (political or economic) factors and the significance of individual historical events.
